America: The World's Newest Banana Republic
Some of us have known for quite some time. As of this writing however, many more are waking up to the fact that this, yes, this government, in all of it’s partisan, sleazy, lop-sided, two-tiered, glory, is the government our founders warned us about. A government that maintains one system for their friends, and an entirely different one for their enemies. A government that has literally declared war on the citizens that elected them to run it. A government, that clearly has no idea that they may have brought America closer to serious political unrest than we have seen in decades.
On Monday, Mar-A-Lago, the Florida home of former President Donald Trump was raided by roughly 30 FBI agents. It has been reported that the Secret Service knew the FBI was on its way, but it was unclear what agents were searching for. Many assumed they were searching for electronic devices that might have information pertaining to the January 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol. First reports indicated that classified material, the sort that Trump, being an ex-president, was fully within his rights to have in his possession, were being searched for. A safe was broken into. Reports say agents went through every office in the residence. Fifteen boxes of materials were taken.
There are a lot of questions surrounding timing, what exactly was taken, what exactly was being looked for. However, there is no question about WHY this has been done. The Democrats and the left may be dancing in the streets tonight, but the dance may not last long. Here is what the American people will slowly begin to figure out is going on. For the first time in American history, a sitting president has those under him, in this case his Attorney General, and FBI director, signing off on a warrant to be served on that president’s predecessor, and possible opponent in the next election. Whether anyone believes that Joe Biden is running in 2024 is not the point. The point is, is that through his administration, and his political party, he is targeting his political opponents. We thought that only happened in places like Cuba and Venezuela. Now it happens in America.
We now know for certain that the letter after your name determines how your government will treat you. If you are Hillary Clinton, and you scrubbed 30,000 emails from your hard drive, even after they were subpoenaed, not a problem. If you are Hunter Biden, and you have a sordid history of shady business deals with, ironically, the same countries in the news lately, China, Russia, and Ukraine, no biggie. If you also had a raging crack and hooker addiction, and your old man, who just happens to be the president, floats you cash to support those habits, we wink, and look the other way. If your old man is the president, and there is solid evidence of him getting a cut from your shady overseas deals, no worries, the media, and the FBI will cover for your whole sleaze bag family. Just make sure “the big guy” gets 10%.
We all know what the ultimate goal is here. Find something, anything, to indict Donald Trump on. They must indict him or else he will run for president again, and not only will Democrats lose, and badly, there is a very good chance that after this raid, Donald Trump would take the deep state apart and clean house, agency by agency. But as usual, they do not see the bigger picture. And that bigger picture is one of a sleeping giant. Any quick perusal of social media the day following this event, and it does not take long to see that conservatives are angry. But along with that anger is coming an enormous amount if motivation. Even for those who do not consider themselves very political people, the writing is on the wall, and they don’t like what it says.
It says that your government has declared war on you. Remember those 87,000 new IRS agents coming in the new “Inflation Reduction Act” that does nothing of the sort? What are we thinking those agents might be used for? Not for making sure guys like Jeff Bezos have paid their taxes. It has been said many times in the last 24 hours, but it will be said here again. If this can be done to a former President of the United States, what can be done to the average Joe who speaks out against his government? Plenty. That’s what. Joe Biden and the Democrat party are now actively using the Department of Justice and the FBI to go after their political opponents. There is no other way to describe it.
Conservatives, the last 24 hours have told us, no demanded of us, that NOW, is the time. Now is the time to stand up, keep speaking out, keep making your voices heard. If you have a platform, use it. For those who do, it is now our responsibility to use it to preserve freedom and liberty in our own corner of the country. We can no longer be afraid of what the left will do. For those old enough to remember, be the lone man in Tiananmen Square in 1989 who stood in front of the tank. And the most important thing you can do, vote. At any other moment in history, it could be nothing more than a cliché. Now, vote as if your life depends on it because it does.
