Democrats Reveal Exactly How They Feel About Hurricane Helene Victims
Americans may have their differences, but for the most part, when disaster strikes, Americans, no matter who they are, band together to help each other through it. Whether it is food, shelter, water, or just a shoulder to cry on, one of the things Americans do best in an emergency is help each other. In the wake of Hurricane Helene, one of the most destructive and deadly natural disasters Americans have seen in quite a while, that is exactly what has been happening. From the Big Bend region in Florida up to North Carolina, because of the hurricane itself or the massive flooding brought on by the storm, the devastation is almost biblical. Portions of Interstate 40 running through Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina has been washed out. Entire towns and communities have disappeared in a matter of hours. Thousands of people are without power, cell service, and basic necessities like food, water, and fuel. Some have literally lost everything.
But as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and other governmental, as well as non-governmental organizations swoop in to help people get on their feet again, all weekend long, there were two significant MIA’s, that would be President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. It’s amazing how disasters can bring out the very best or the very worst in people. And that is exactly what happened with the two highest elected officeholders in the country. So, where were Biden and Harris while this storm pounded the southeast portion of the country? Well, Joe was where else, in Delaware, asleep on the beach. Kamala Harris was in Las Vegas and Los Angeles at glitzy fundraisers, hob-knobbing with celebrities. It wasn’t a good look for either one, and by Sunday, the media was even forced to commit random acts of journalism and ask Joe Biden about hurricane relief. The media got from Joe Biden what most people do now when they dare to ask him questions: a crabby, and in Joe’s case, senile old man, yelling at kids to get off his lawn. One reporter asked, “Do you have any words to the victims of the hurricane?” Joe snarled, “We’ve given everything that we have.” To their credit, the reporter forged ahead, asking, “Are there any more resources the federal government could be giving them?” Another snarl from Joe, “No.” Nice talkin’ to ya’ Joe. You’re all heart.
Commander-in-Chief Wannabe Kamala Harris wasn’t much better. After tearing herself away from her adoring fans in Hollywood, Harris showed up at FEMA headquarters and rattled off a scripted speech about how the Biden-Harris administration would be assisting the affected states for as long as they needed. During her scripted speech, Kamala Harris talked about people “rising to the moment,” said the woman whose photo of “consulting” with FEMA… or somebody but is writing on a blank sheet of paper with earbuds not plugged into her phone is making the rounds. As the people of the southeast United States are trying to salvage what they can of their lives, who was “rising to the moment?” Donald Trump.
On Monday, Trump was in Valdosta, Georgia, along with Rev. Franklin Graham and Samaritan’s Purse to deliver supplies to those in need. The contrast could not be starker. It is a stunning illustration of who our true leaders are…and who they are not. It is also an explanation of just what Democrat leaders think of those of us inhabiting “flyover” country. The very same people who are now trying to get back on their feet. Perhaps our old buddy Peter Strzok was the most eloquent about it. He told the story of how he had been in a Washington D.C. area Walmart and that “you could almost smell the Trump supporters.” But let’s dig a little deeper.
A category four hurricane hit most of the southeastern part of the U.S. As of this writing, the death toll stands at roughly 200. People have lost everything they have worked their whole lives for. But the people who should care, the people who call themselves leaders don’t. They don’t give a damn about ordinary average working Americans. They only care about you when you will give them their vote. Kamala Harris cares so little that she cannot manage a coherent sentence to tell you why you should vote for her. Votes, that is all average Americans are to these people. They think you are stupid and uneducated, but the dirty little secret is that, even if that were true, that would be perfectly fine with them because then you would be much easier to manipulate and control.
The reality is that they hate you, they hate everything about you. They hate that you don’t have as much money as they do, they hate your way of life. They hate that you teach your children the morals and values that you do. They hate that you value hard work. They hate that you go to church. And they despise the fact that someone like you would have the nerve to question them. After all, they are better than you, and they know what is best for you better than you do. The fact that the majority of these Americans are hip to the scam the elites have been running on them and they absolutely support Donald Trump just makes them hate you more.
Their cheerleaders, of course, are the media. The media has the same opinion of you that they do. They hate when Trump calls them “the enemy of the people.” Not because they are not, they are, but for the fact that Trump knows it, and he makes sure that everyone else knows it, too.
The federal government will come in and help those who need it because they have to. Those ordinary, everyday average Americans will do it because it is what we do.
