Donald Trump and Elon Musk Make Corporate Media Obsolete in Two Hours
The 2024 presidential election cycle has already been one of the most unique in history. What started as a former and current president squaring off against each other, has become a Vice President who has not won a single primary vote being installed by the Democrat party elites as the Democrat candidate, pushing out an incumbent president because the elite think he is too senile to pull off a win. At this point, no one dares utter the phrase, “What else could possibly happen?”
Well, how about the mainstream corporate media becoming completely irrelevant and obsolete in two hours? That’s exactly what happened Tuesday night when Elon Musk interviewed Donald Trump on X. It was a conversation for the ages. With an estimated 1 billion people listening, it was the equivalent of eavesdropping on a very special conversation. It came off as two of the world’s most intelligent and wealthiest men, sitting in either one’s living room, just hanging out, and having one of the most intelligent conversations this election cycle has seen and will see. It was completely spontaneous, it was totally unscripted, and it was real. And the best part, it made the left’s heads explode.
Things started out a little shaky. Musk and Trump got started late because of what was first thought to be just some technical bugs. But as the interview got rolling, Musk revealed that the glitches were actually a DDOS or cyber attack. Normally, it might have just been thought to be Elon Musk and his flair for the dramatic. But earlier in the day, the European Union (EU) had sent Musk a threatening letter, trying to get him to censor or cancel the interview altogether. But because Musk purchased Twitter to make it a free speech oasis, he promptly ignored the EU. Did the EU have anything to do with the cyber attack? Who knows? But the possibility of using a cyber attack to enforce such demands put on full display just how terrified the EU is of Trump and Musk teaming up and makes the fight for free speech even more important.
As things got up and running, listeners were treated to two guys talking about all the serious issues facing our nation and their commonsense solutions on how to solve them. Of course, one of the first subjects to come up was the economy. Musk and Trump approached it as exactly who they are. It was so refreshing to hear two guys who are businessmen who know what works to build and maintain a successful business, talk in terms of bringing the American economy roaring back to life. Musk remarked that there needs to be some sort of office of government efficiency, to reign in government spending and cut the monster that the government has become down to size. Musk volunteered to help make that happen. How amazing that would be!
Another thing Donald Trump talked about was that if he is reelected, one of the first things he would do would be to abolish the Department of Education and return education back to the states. He talked about states like Iowa and Idaho where students are enjoying great academic success. Trump said he believes that at least 35 states having education returned to their purview will allow their students to achieve better academic scores. Trump added that the United States spends more money per student than any other country in the world, despite our education system being ranked close to the bottom of the list of countries with the best education systems.
But this interview, as alluded to earlier, was about so much more than two guys sitting around talking about their ideas on how to make the country better. Elon Musk proved to the country and the world really, that the internet allows for the bypassing of corporate media, their open bias, and abject failure at any semblance of fairness and objectivity. He proved that the mainstream corporate media really is an outdated obsolete fossil of a bygone day. They can’t control either Trump or Musk, and that makes their hatred of them and anyone who bypasses them, like Musk a target of things like cyber attacks.
The Musk-Trump interview also proved in spades, the power that independent media now has. Most of that independent media is conservative, and the left has been trying since Rush Limbaugh hit the airwaves in 1988, to figure out a way to shut it down. But that is not going to happen. Media outlets like Breitbart, The Daily Caller, and The Blaze are only going to get bigger and more powerful because the American people, at least most of them, are sick and tired of being told what to think. The one thing that made this conversation work, is because of the way it was framed and devised. Elon Musk himself tweeted, “My use of the word ‘conversation’ is deliberate. This is so that people understand how Donald Trump talks when it is a conversation, rather than an interview. Nobody is quite themselves in an interview, so it’s hard to understand what they’re really like.”
It is a refreshing approach because we know that the media will never do it. They are too busy playing “gotcha” and trying to make Donald Trump into someone he is not so they can say they were right about him. It is truly disgusting and evil. It is ironic that Musk wanted to show a natural side of Trump, who he really is. Musk said he offered the same opportunity to Kamala Harris, and she refused the invite. A refusal to show the American people who you really are?
