How The Democrats Keep Stepping in It

     It seemed so easy. They just needed a pandemic so everyone would be locked inside their homes. That would make it hard for people to leave their homes to go vote. Well, we’ll just send the ballots to them. That way, we will have control over the ballots. We can “collect” (harvest) them and truck them in at 3:00 a.m. so no one sees them, and we will just count ‘em as we need them. If anyone asks, we will just have the media call them election deniers and ruin their lives. What could go wrong? Well, in the three years since Joe Biden became President, whether you believe it was the result of an election or something else, just about everything that could go wrong for Democrats, has gone wrong. There is not a pile of anything they haven’t avoided stepping in. Let’s review, shall we?

     Joe Biden took office promising to unite the country. The grown-ups would finally be in charge. It didn’t take long for all the things that Republicans warned about began to happen. Gas and food prices began to rise, as did inflation. Then in August of 2021, came the utter disaster of the withdrawal from Afghanistan. A steady stream of illegal immigrants started coming across the U.S. southern border. That steady stream has turned into roughly 6 million illegal immigrants crossing the border since Joe Biden became President. Because of the “defund the police” movement that Democrats were all about following the death of George Floyd in 2020, the police departments of most American cities are too short-handed to be as effective as they should be. And to top it off, key areas of the world are at war. Then there is Joe Biden himself. He may have come to office relatively lucid, but it is glaringly apparent, that there is something extremely wrong with Joe Biden, most likely dementia. We all have that elderly relative who tells the same story over and over. Joe Biden is America’s elderly relative, this week, once again, telling the story of how he almost lost his wife and car to a kitchen fire in Delaware. The fire was out in 20 minutes and was contained to the kitchen. He usually tells that story right after the Amtrak story of Conductor Angelo “Joey Baby” Negri, who pinched Biden on the cheek and congratulated him for his million miles of train travel. Just one problem, Biden didn’t reach the million-mile travel mark until 2015 as Vice President, well after Negri retired in 1993, and after he died in 2014.

  

   So, to sum up, the Democrats want anyone other than Joe Biden to run in 2024. Well, almost anyone, except Vice President Kamala Harris. But while he might not remember how to get down the stairs, there is one thing Joe does remember, and that’s power. He is hanging on to it for dear life and doesn’t plan on going anywhere. They do have one other name in the hopper, California Gov. Gavin Newsom. He’s young, has good hair, and can string a sentence together. Just one problem, he is a straight white male, and if the Democrats let him leapfrog over the unqualified black woman, well, let’s just say it wouldn’t be pretty. The cherry on the cake of this whole scenario is that Joe Biden’s poll numbers are below the toilet. A recent Wall Street Journal poll has Biden’s approval rating at 37 percent, the lowest in WSJ polling. The same poll shows for the first time, in a head-to-head match-up, Donald Trump leads Biden 47 to 43 percent. Trump is also leading Biden in two key swing states. In Michigan Trump has a 10 percent lead over Biden, and in Georgia, Trump leads 49 to 44 percent.  

     So, if you are Joe Biden, what is the one thing you can do to maybe turn this sinking ship around? Bring on Hillary Clinton. Wait what?! Isn’t she still wandering through the woods in Chappaqua with a half-empty bottle of Chardonnay rambling on about how the Russians stole the 2016 election right out from under her? Well, not for long it seems. Hillary is being brought on board to “build infrastructure, raise money, and mobilize voters.” Once again, Democrats have found a pile to step in. A recent YouGov poll shows Hillary Clinton’s favorability rating at 43 percent. And she is supposed to prop up Joe Biden? But Hillary is just getting the ball rolling. According to NBC News, “Clinton’s role is only expected to grow in the new year, but for now, she is filling a space that at a later point in the campaign season former President Barack Obama will join.” Again, summing up, the woman who had no qualms about creating the entire Russia collusion scam against Donald Trump as his chief political opponent in 2016, and the guy who warned everyone not to underestimate Joe’s ability to f*** things up, are swooping in to save Joe Biden. Republicans, in our utter joy at watching all this, must remember, that yes, this is the woman who orchestrated the Russian collusion hoax. Why might the Democrats have brought her on board? They know they are in trouble, and they know Hillary Clinton has no boundaries. Could it be to cook up Russian collusion 2.0?  Beware Republicans. Beware.  

     This is the state of the Democrat party. You really have to wonder if arm-chair quarter-backing the whole caper, if Democrats now think it was worth it? Through their obsession with identity politics, their psychopathic hatred for one man, and straight-up cheating, they have backed themselves into a corner that is going to be fun as hell to watch them wiggle out of.
