Pro-Hamas Protests: A Warm-Up to the Democrats' Arab Summer

    Most normal rational Americans are horrified at what they see taking place on many of America’s college campuses. Increasingly violent pro-Hamas, pro-terrorist protests against Israel, are leaving Jewish students terrorized, too afraid to leave their dorm rooms to go to class. Remember, 2020, also an election year, started with the George Floyd protests and Black Lives Matter. Coincidence, maybe. These are all the same people, spoiled rich kids whose parents pay $60,000 a year to send them to places like Columbia University, and fancy themselves “revolutionaries,” who plan said revolution on their Apple computers. You know, the ones that have the “capitalism sucks” and “resist” stickers on them. What they don’t tell you is that it is pretty easy to “resist” when Mommy and Daddy are footing the bill.

     But this problem goes much deeper and darker than spoiled rich kids who are such “badasses” that they all have their faces covered. Do they even know what they are protesting? Some might, but others, have been taught this hatred, or more to the point, haven’t been taught. They have been taught hatred of Israel through omission for free after years of attending public school. It’s not just college professors who indoctrinate their captive audiences anymore. As of January 2023, 18 states passed laws specifically requiring Holocaust and genocide education. But that leaves out a lot of young people who know nothing about Nazi Germany and what happened to Jews. It also allows for a lot of young people to be indoctrinated through social media and other avenues where they become useful idiots for radical leftist and terrorist groups.

 

    Of course, what happened in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, certainly wasn’t contingent on an American election, but the Democrat party, whether wittingly or unwittingly, has found itself saddled with one more radical leftist group that, for the most part, they can ignore right now, but as we get closer to the November election, that is going to be a harder feat to pull off. As Americans watch what unfolds on college campuses, it should be becoming very apparent that all the ingredients are coming together for one thing. This is all nothing but a dry run for the Democrat Convention in August in, of all places, Chicago, and a repeat of 1968. The Democrats of 1968 were contending with Vietnam War protesters. But the pro-terrorist protesters, because that is what they are, are way more unhinged than Vietnam protesters on a good day. Those protesting the war in Vietnam did not want to see more young American men sent off to war. It was about preserving their lives. Pro-Hamas protesters are not about life, they are about death, the death of as many Jews as possible. The dangerous part, they are willing to achieve that goal by any means possible.

     But the pro-Hamas protesters will only be the first layer of the leftist cake when Democrats converge on one of their most loyal cities, Chicago. Along with them will come Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and every other left-wing terrorist organization you can think of. We are also seeing tent encampments spring up at several other colleges and universities. They are the spawns of Occupy Wall Street and Seattle’s CHOP Zone. To be fair, a few are bound to show up in Milwaukee for the Republican convention as well, but the main event is by far Chicago. The beef all these leftists have with the Democrat party is that it is not nearly left enough. Before Democrats might make any possible attempt at a brokered convention and switch out sleepy Joe Biden for maybe, a younger, more hair-gelled Gavin Newsom, Biden will do what he did this week. He will say he condemns antisemitism, but he will also say that “I also condemn those who don’t understand what’s going on with the Palestinians.” Sounds vaguely like there are fine people on both sides.  

While this whole sordid chain of events should not be boiled down to politics, it will be. Here is what Republicans must do, make Democrats own these protests. All these pro-terrorist protesters and that is what they are, are Democrat voters. If you really take a good look at the anti-Israel pro-Hamas protests, there is a little something for everyone depending on how they look at it. If you are a Muslim, you look at the conflict from a religious perspective. If you are a Black Lives Matter activist, you look at it as a racial conflict. If you are Palestinian, you see it as the oppressor versus the oppressed. All these groups individually, are liberal Democrat parts that make up the entire Democrat coalition. No one who counts themselves in any one of these groups is voting for Donald Trump.

     This might sound odd, but as the weather gets warmer all around the country, more protests and anti-Israel encampments will break out. Funny, protests never seem to break out in January, that would be some serious commitment. Democrats don’t realize it yet, but unfortunately for them, this movement is just getting started and is not going to slow down in time for the Democrat convention in August. All this is just practice. But we should wonder about one thing. What happens when protesting on campus becomes boring and too restrictive, and the protesters think that no one is paying attention? How do they ramp things up? Democrats will have no way to reign in the monster they have created.
