Republicans-Time to Turn Up the Rhetoric
It might seem like a comparison that has been made before, but for different reasons. Democrats and the left are like criminals who are very sorry that they’ve been caught but are not the least bit sorry for what they have done. This time, it is the incendiary language used in the context of a presidential election that has once again come back to bite them, and they know it. Once again, America is faced with another assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. This time, Trump was committing the crime of enjoying a Sunday afternoon golf game when a super vigilant Secret Service agent noticed the muzzle of a rifle poking through a fence in a wooded area along the property line of the Trump Golf Course. The Secret Service agent fired his weapon, but the gunman escaped. Another vigilant individual spotted the fleeing gunman, took a picture of his vehicle and license plate, and he was apprehended a short time later.
The investigation is still in the very early stages, but we are beginning to find out things about Ryan Wesley Routh, the alleged assassin. He is extremely pro-Ukraine, having traveled there to recruit people to fight in the Russia-Ukraine war. Some questions are also starting to be asked, questions like this: Routh was a roofer by trade, but he maintained homes in North Carolina and Hawaii, in addition to traveling back and forth to Ukraine. How much do roofers make? It begs the question as to whether he had some outside help. We don’t know that yet. Then there are the other questions. Routh was virtually camped out in his spot at the fence line for some twelve hours. How was he allowed to go undetected for so long? Donald Trump has already survived an assassination attempt, why didn’t the Secret Service have more people on the ground at the golf course? The more we find out, the more questions are going to emerge. But there is going to be one giant question that comes up that will be the definitive elephant in the room. Ryan Routh apparently had a substantial online presence. What sort of political media was he consuming? I think we know.
What I am about to say might not be popular. Some of you might think that it is not helpful. Some of you might just plain disagree with it. But it needs to start being said. Because whether we like it or not, we are in a state of war in this country. Whether we like it or not, it is us against them. At what point are Republicans and conservatives going to get sufficiently mad enough that there is some real pushback of Democrats and the left? Well, I feel like I am sufficiently mad enough so I can get us started. I have often heard Dan Bongino say that conservatives think that liberals are good people with bad ideas. Liberals think conservatives are bad people with bad ideas. Bongino is spot on. We need to stop giving these people the benefit of the doubt. How can they be good people when they advocate for the things they do? So no, they are not good people. Let’s get that straight right now.
Thankfully, Donald Trump was unhurt Sunday afternoon, but I am calling out the people who have “blood on their hands” just the same. Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and any Democrat who posted on social media that they were “glad” Trump was okay. I am calling total BS on that. No, they’re not. If they are saying it, it is with a wink. Why would we believe anything they said? But then, there is, of course, the media. Those charged with disseminating information to the American people. Only that is not what they do. They are the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party, and propaganda is exactly what they do, news and information have nothing to do with it. What they do is opinion, disseminating the opinion of the Democrat Party thinly veiled as “news.” They hate Donald Trump in a way that is nothing short of pathological. It is why they call him “Hitler,” a dictator, a narcissist, he only cares about himself and his rich friends, not the American people. He’s a “threat to democracy” and a domestic terrorist.
They have spent the last eight years not only calling Trump Hitler and spreading their opinion but warning the rest of the country how dangerous Trump supporters are, too. That’s why we should be getting mad. Don’t think, as an average American, you are immune, you are not. How long did the media think they could do this and not have it come back on them? The answer to that is that they know it is coming back on them. That is why they are trying to blame Trump, that he is “bringing it on himself.” Remember, Donald Trump has a special set of rules that makes every disgusting thing they do okay. One of the best movie lines ever is, “There ain’t nothin’ more dangerous in this world than a fool with a cause.” We must remember that as well.
We are now at the point where if the left wants chaos, I am all for bringing it to them and bringing it to them in a way that it will not be mistaken for what it is. For all those who want to “tone down the rhetoric,” No. Now is precisely the time to turn it up. We keep saying that the left has “poked the bear” or “awakened a sleeping giant.” Sorry, but where is that happening?
Bottom line is, and we had better realize this now. There is not going to be any “unity.” The left doesn’t want unity, and quite frankly, I have no interest in unity, and I don’t believe for a minute that I am the only one who feels that way. This political environment is not going to end with the election either. We are in a battle for the country; it’s serious, and we had better act like it.
