The left loves to snicker and giggle when conservatives talk about “the deep state.” They will scoff and tell you it’s just another crazy right-wing conspiracy theory. Well, the problem is, is that we need to get some new conspiracy theories because all our old ones, the ones the left tells us are not true, actually are. In a presidential election season where the left, the media, and Democrats, separate arms of the same sea creature, tell you that the candidate who can’t even tell you what her positions on the issues are is winning, it is also a season ripe with new conspiracy theories.
Let’s try this one on for size. On Monday, it was reported that would-be Trump assassin Ryan Routh, had given a letter to an unnamed associate. This occurred months before Routh hid near the Trump International Golf Course for 12 hours in an attempt to kill Donald Trump. The letter was addressed to “The World.” The letter was in a box that also contained ammunition and some cell phones, as well as some other items. But apparently, Routh did not think that his attempt would be successful. The letter read in part, “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job.” The contents of the box, including the letter, were passed on to the Department of Justice.
Before we go any further, why didn’t Routh think he could carry out the task? Did he think what did happen, that he would be apprehended before he could get a shot off, would happen, or did he think he would be shot and killed by the Secret Service? If he was counting on suicide by the Secret Service, did he believe the world would make him a martyr? But beyond Ryan Routh’s dreams of immortality is this also, on Monday, the Department of Justice released the particular portion of the letter stating that Routh would pay someone to “complete the job.” Joe Biden’s Department of Justice and his Attorney General Merrick Garland have three and a half years’ worth of questionable actions to their name, but this one couldn’t be more inexplicable, or could it? The one person who seemed the most flabbergasted by these actions was Trump’s former Attorney General Bill Barr. Trump and Barr certainly had their differences, especially after January 6, 2021. But even Barr was at a loss as to why the DOJ and Merrick Garland would have done something so incredibly reckless. Barr said, “I was dumbfounded that the DOJ made public this morning the contents of the letter that, Ryan Routh, left with an acquaintance prior to the attempted assassination of former President Trump. Even if DOJ thought it important to provide the letter to the court, it could have redacted inflammatory material or arranged to have the letter submitted under seal. It was rash to put out this letter in the midst of an election during which two attempts on the life of President Trump had been made.” Barr added that “It served no purpose other than to risk inciting further violence.”
Let’s let Bill Barr’s words just hang in a word bubble there for a minute. Besides all of the Democrats and others on the left who have barely been able to contain their glee at the previous assassination attempts and all but imply there should be more, on Tuesday, Trump was briefed by U.S. Intelligence officials about real and very credible threats on his life coming from Iran. At the least, these threats amount to foreign interference in our election. In true Trump fashion, at a rally in North Carolina on Wednesday, Trump addressed the Iranian threats by saying what his actions would be when he is the President and if there are any threats against any American politicians in the way they should be, with a threat of his own. He said, “If I were the President, I would inform the threatening country, in this case, Iran, if you do anything to harm this person, we are going to blow your largest cities and the country itself to smithereens. We’re going to blow it to smithereens. There would be no more threats. But right now, we don’t have that leadership or the necessary people, the necessary leaders.”
But let’s look closer to home. The Department of Justice decided to release this portion of Routh’s letter. There is no way they didn’t know that the media, who have essentially given up all pretense of advocating for Trump’s protection, would run with it. Haven’t Republicans and conservatives been lectured to since January 6, 2021, that those kinds of words are inciting an insurrection? Isn’t inciting an assassination, which is, I’ll say it, exactly what they have been doing, just a tad bit worse?
We have known that the scenario we are in right now was coming. It started the moment Donald Trump came down the escalator in 2015 and has just been building up to this point. What happens when the next nutjob figures out that Ryan Routh can’t pay to get the job done, but the Iranians can and just might? It is getting harder to list the number of entities, whether it is the government or outside of the government, that are more than willing to have Donald Trump’s blood on their hands. We have known all along that there were the rules for everyone else; then there are the rules for Donald Trump. There can be no doubt it is the Deep State at work.
Be skeptical of official statements.
They are often, by intention, partially true.
The Government that initiated the Russia Hoax, J6, and Mar-a-Largo raid cannot be blindly trusted.
It wouldn't shock me if the assassination teams were domestic in origin.
