Tin Foil Hat Conspiracy Theories Part 2
You have to love when holes the size of a tractor-trailer get poked in the “official” stories of the left. After those on the right pose a theory about a given topic, the left then proceeds to label them as “conspiracy theories,” extra bonus if they can also label them racist, sexist, bigoted or homophobic. But then those conspiracies begin to be proven true. Even then, the left will usually cling to them as long as possible. The problem is that there is never an acknowledgement that they were so dead wrong, and no one is held accountable. Unfortunately, that is what will happen with the beginnings of the House investigation into the origins of COVID. Talking heads on CNN and MSNBC said certain things must be done to prevent the spread, and those who did not fall into lock step should be imprisoned, or worse. Now, many of those preventions are turning out to be just what the doubters said they were, useless. Again, there will be no apologies forthcoming, and no accountability. All our “conspiracy theories” are coming true, now what?
A recent report in the Wall Street Journal now says that the U.S. Department of Energy, along with the FBI, believe that the coronavirus was the result of some sort of “mishap” in a Chinese laboratory in Wuhan. The Biden administration, citing new evidence, now says that this was the most likely route of introduction of the virus into China and ultimately world-wide. That’s funny, because back in 2021, if you were to relate this theory, guess what you were called? That’s right, a conspiracy theorist, and you more than likely, encountered all kinds of censorship because you were speaking this theory out loud. Just ask Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), who was met with scores of “fact-checkers” and accused of spreading “misinformation.”
Several Biden administration officials are still desperately clinging to the “we have no definitive evidence of a lab leak” narrative. But we have to remember that these are the same people who, after scores of data and actual scientific evidence have made their way past the “fact-checkers,” are also still convinced that masks worked, a vaccine or booster every month would prevent you from getting COVID, that natural immunity was useless, and that keeping kids out of school, and keeping people in their homes were the solution. But the left, always working on the theory that, if an idea they consider to be “crazy” is put forth by a Republican, it is also perfectly acceptable to ridicule said Republican because they believe they consistently have the moral high ground, and of course, care more about “science.” This is not and never has been about science. It was about all-encompassing government control by a select group of elites who would tell you how you must live. The left loves to talk about collusion, this was about nothing but collusion between government, health authorities, and drug companies, who would make a fortune telling you what you could and couldn’t do. So now that all the “conspiracy theories” of conservatives about COVID have appeared to come true, it might be fun to keep those tin foil hats on and think about a few more. Because ultimately, it is so much fun to tweak the left.
Here are a few observations and questions, that, in the words of the great Rod Serling, are submitted for your approval. Americans would be electing a president in 2020. Are we supposed to believe that a world-wide pandemic was unleashed in a year that just happened to be an election year? And let’s look at the state of the nation in 2020. President Donald Trump had led the United States into one of the most prosperous economic periods in the history of the nation. Unemployment was down in every demographic. Illegal immigration was at one of the lowest points in history. The United States was both feared and respected abroad. Trump was running against former Senator and Vice President Joe Biden, a 50-year career politician whose most notable piece of legislation was the 1994 crime bill that many that had been around Washington at the time and since, see it as helping to incarcerate large numbers of African Americans. He had gone on to commit plagiarism multiple times and tell easily provable untruths about just about every event in his life. Democrats spent most of Donald Trump’s presidency hating him with a viciousness rarely seen in politics or anywhere else. Everything they had thrown at him, that traditionally would have taken out any other Republican politician, much less a president hadn’t worked. If the prosperous state of the nation continued, it looked like Donald Trump would walk into re-election in 2020. We also know that National Institute of Health Director Dr. Anthony Fauci was directly involved in gain-of-function research being done at the lab in Wuhan. Why? What was the purpose of such research?
A much bigger question was looming. How would a nation of 350 million people roughly, conduct a presidential election in the middle of a pandemic when children could not attend school and Americans were made to work from home if possible? Was this where Democrats saw their chance? Early voting had been around in several states since the 80’s and 90’s. If people were afraid to wait in line around other people, that procedure could be extended. But then there was an even better idea, mail in ballots! Of course, why not just send a ballot to every person in America and they can just mail it in and never have to leave the house, genius. Just one problem, voter rolls in many states are a mess. Dead voters, voters who no longer live in the state, and other voting snafus. Some Americans received multiple ballots in the mail. And just in case they miss the mailman, ballot drop boxes were the perfect way to make sure everyone’s vote counted, because everybody only voted once, right?
To sum up, a pandemic that just happen to take place in an election year, where there was a candidate that the opposition party would literally do anything to get rid of. Perhaps the mother of conspiracy theories – without COVID, there is no ramp up of early voting, and mail in ballots and ballot drop boxes don’t exist, and there is a damn good chance that Joe Biden never sees the inside of the Oval Office. Tin foil hat enough for you?
It has taken three years for the fact that everything the “experts” said about COVID was wrong. It may take at least that long for the next batch of “conspiracy theories” to be proven true as well.
