In five days, Americans will do what we have been doing for almost 250 years. We will elect the next President of the United States. Some will like the choice; some will not. It used to be that the post-election period was the time when we put aside our differences and came together for the good of our nation to move it forward in the best way possible. Well, it seems that those days are gone. The idea of the peaceful transfer of power actually happening and not just being an archaic idea is out the window. The simple explanation of that is that now, there is one political party that somehow cannot grasp the notion that the American people might not want them in power in perpetuity, thus initiating one-party rule, that they most certainly can be voted out of power, and that that vote is not the result of some untoward election event taking place but the will of the people.
With under a week to go, Democrats are very clearly in panic mode. No one will dispute the fact that Joe Biden’s brain is little more than Jello at this point, but the palace coup that installed Vice President Kamala Harris as the new Democrat Party nominee is turning out to be an even worse idea than giving Joe the boot. She is physically unable to answer a question without devolving into an incoherent word salad. You know she doesn’t know the answer to a question when all you get is unending cackling. But worst of all, she can’t state her true position on issues because they are so unbelievably left-wing that only a tiny sliver of people would get behind them.
I have written about whether this entire campaign has just been a set-up for Democrats to get Kamala Harris out of the way. If she loses, and badly, she will be used goods, and the best she will be able to hope for is a run for Governor of California or a possible ambassadorship in a future Democrat administration. If you think about it, it’s a convenient way to get rid of the black woman without all the liberal fuss. Democrats take the “L” in 2024 and start with a fresh slate in 2028. The problem for Democrats, however, is that their base has no idea that could well be the plan. The end of civilization as they know it will come to an end if Donald Trump is reelected. So, let’s say that happens. What happens next? Well, there may be a plan in place for that, too.
We know there will be the usual garden-variety left-wing temper tantrums. There will be looting and rioting and protests in the streets and shouts of “Not my president!” There will be the collective primal screams of liberal women. Wait a minute, isn’t this dangerously close to being, dare I say, an insurrection? Well, yes, it is. But when Democrats do it, it is called “resistance.” That makes it much sexier. But what if that is not the end of it? What if that is just the beginning of the plan? What if there is something more?
Here’s the thing. Republicans know all that other stuff is coming. It happens anytime Democrats don’t get their way. Sure, it’s inconvenient, but it doesn’t faze us anymore. It just doesn’t have the impact that it once did, and Democrats do not get the reaction they want out of it anymore. Couple that with this; think of all the things that Democrats and the left have thrown at Donald Trump. They created hoax after hoax. They talked about impeaching him in the same breath as they covered Inauguration Day in 2017. Then, they proceeded to do it, twice. When that didn’t work, they indicted him four times with multiple felony counts. With every indictment, his poll numbers went up. As the legal cases have disintegrated, they have realized they were left with only one option. There have been two assassination attempts. He has survived both. If Trump is reelected, they will be looking for someone or a group of someone’s who have a level of hatred for Donald Trump that is unparalleled and their willingness to carry out a plan that matches that level of hatred.
Think of it this way: before September 11, 2001, there could not possibly have been one American citizen who it would have occurred to, to use commercial jets as missiles and fly them into skyscrapers, not one. Even after 9/11, it took Americans a bit of time to wrap that concept around their collective minds. Twenty-three years later, it still seems incomprehensible. I am not suggesting a repeat of 9/11 post-election. What I am suggesting is that that is the kind of over-the-top outrageous thinking they will be looking for. If none of those other things failed to get the attention of Republicans and conservatives, then they will be looking for someone who can deliver that attention.
The aforementioned Republicans and conservatives usually labor under the notion that Democrats and the left operate with some set of rules where, at some point, there is a line they will not cross. When are we going to learn they do not? Will it involve the deep state? Maybe, the deep state in its present incarnation will be operating at full capacity at least until January 20, 2025. It’s not out of the question. The question is, will we realize this could happen, and will we be on the lookout for it? At the risk of wearing my tinfoil hat, a lot can happen between November 5, 2024, and January 20, 2025. Plan accordingly.
